Privacy policy
Last updated
This policy explains what information aethal (“we”) collects when you use www.aethal.org, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do with it. It is a starting draft and should be reviewed by a legal professional before launch.
What we collect
- Enquiry form: your name, email, phone number (optional), type of business, budget range and message.
- Booking a call: your name, email, WhatsApp number and anything you write in the note. They are sent to Cal.com, which schedules the call and sends you the invite, video link and reminders.
- WhatsApp: if you message us on WhatsApp, we receive your number and messages through WhatsApp (Meta).
- Analytics (only with your consent): Google Analytics 4 records pages visited, approximate location, device type and actions such as clicking “Chat on WhatsApp” or booking a call. It does not load unless you accept analytics cookies.
Why we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and provide the services you ask for.
- To arrange and prepare for calls you ask for.
- With consent, to understand which pages help visitors so we can improve the site.
We do not sell your information or use it for advertising to you without your permission.
Where it is stored
Enquiries are stored in a private Google Sheet (Google Workspace). Call bookings are stored by Cal.com. WhatsApp messages are handled by WhatsApp (Meta). Analytics data is stored by Google. These providers may process data outside India.
Cookies
We set one cookie to remember your analytics choice. Google Analytics cookies are only set if you click “Accept”. Booking a call doesn't set any cookies: the calendar on our contact page talks to Cal.com from our server, not your browser. You can change your analytics choice any time using “Cookie settings” in the footer.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept for up to 24 months, or for as long as we work together plus any period required by law. Analytics data is kept for 14 months.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete the information we hold about you, or withdraw consent, by emailing contact@aethal.org. Depending on where you live, laws such as India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 or the GDPR give you these rights.
